Shonda Rhimes Hits Back at People Critical of Gay Characters

Uber producer, Shonda Rhimes, is at it again, fiercely defending people's rights to just be.

The Scandal and Grey's Anatomy creator shot down a Twitter user who complained about "gay scenes" on her shows, including those on the new hit, How to Get Away With Murder. In case you didn't know, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder both feature gay male characters in the regular cast.

Dina Abdel Hakiem tweeted:

Rhimes responded with a series of tweets including one that says in part, #onelove. At least in Shondaland.

Perhaps, Rhimes' "no assholes" policy extends to her fans as well.
